Renderosity Magazine Weekly Art Challenge - Week 23

Aug 03, 2022 at 10:14 pm by nickcharles

Welcome to Week 23 of the Renderosity Magazine Weekly Art Challenge! The aim of this challenge is to get everyone creating, regardless of tools or methods.

This week's challenge theme is 'Triangle'.

I went back to the word generator app for this week and it resulted in 'Triangle.' This one could get interesting... Take it as the actual shape, or even a relationship. See wherever this week's theme leads you!

Word generator apps are great tools that can help spark creativity when you're just not feeling it. There are many available and I use one all the time for a number of creative endeavors. I would highly suggest trying one.

Hope you enjoy this week's challenge. And, if you have any suggestions for future challenges, let me know!

If you wish your work to be featured, contact me at, and be sure to include "Renderosity Magazine Weekly Art Challenge" in the subject line. All I ask is that for your work to be featured, it does not contain nudity, or otherwise could be deemed offensive.

Last week's challenge theme was 'Vacation'. Here are some submissions:

This piece was submitted by Dochtersions on Renderosity.

"Here is my entry for the 'vacation' subject. With some help from Lunapick, this is the result from a vacation on the beach."

Be sure to check out Dochtersion's Renderosity gallery, here.

This piece is from kareldg on Renderosity.

This piece was submitted by artdreamer on Renderosity.

"If you have enough money and are healthy then you have so many options to choose what you want to do in your vacation. I thought it would be a good idea to give the guy called Holke some choices. Made in Poser."

This piece, "Beach Vacation," was submitted by APlusDesign.

"First thing I thought of was the beach with the word 'vacation'. So I put together this piece in Daz 3d Studio. Perfect place to relax in the sun or cool off in the water."

Be sure to check out the rest of APlusDesign's Renderosity gallery here

This piece was my own. This was a photo I took at a campground in Fall, with some adjustments in Exposure X7 software.

I hope you enjoyed this challenge and you continue to follow up weekly. And, please, spread the word! You do not need to be a member of Renderosity to participate, and you do not need to submit your work if you do not wish to. This is a work in progress and the format may change as it grows.

Thank you, and have a creative week ahead!

The Renderosity Magazine Weekly Art Challenge appears every Wednesday, in which I provide a prompt of sorts, whether a theme, word, or idea. There are no strict guidelines, and any tools or methods are acceptable. You can use any software you wish, or use traditional means. There are no limits to where the prompt might lead you.

Each succesive week, I will talk about the previous week's challenge, show what I came up with, as well as the work of other participants, and provide the theme/idea for the next challenge.

There are no prizes for this weekly challenge at this time. This is just to get us all doing something creative, no matter the tools or methods.
