While working on the gallery of the week, I came across this striking image created by deadhead and I knew I had to feature the image in the Renderosity Magazine gallery. What makes this image so special is that it is so perfectly composed and rendered that it seems almost real; perhaps even hyper-real. Deadhead's gallery is filled with remarkable images like this one. The vignette effect on the image and the light making one of the insects claws transparent are incredible.
