I attended a short presentation by the director(s) of this marvelous stop-motion film at Siggraph. The careful planning and the sheer amount of work that went into construction and design made me tired just listening to them. Every single facial feature for all of the puppets was handpainted. All of the characters were 3D-printed, too. I was fortunate to get one of the faces of the Bone Witch that the director was handing out.
Bone Witch is a lovely film that shows what a small crew and a large amount of work/imagination can produce. They were helped with support from the Canadian government which is very supportive of the arts.
