Renderosity has partnered with Reallusion to help promote access to Reallusion Character Creator 3, a full character creation solution that Renderosity members can use to import and unify their DAZ and Poser content for real-time animation and game design, the companies announced Nov. 1.
The partnership means the integration of Reallusion Character Creator 3 and iClone 7 within the Renderosity community. The partnership elevates Renderosity vendor content to a new level for inclusion in animation and games.
In support of Reallusion’s debut, the Renderosity community will provide a series of the free tutorials on turning DAZ & Poser content into game assets with CC3, a tailored software bundle that includes a year of Renderosity Prime Membership, and a dedicated area on the Renderosity forums.
Renderosity community members can also use the software to create photorealistic renders using its Iray engine.
"We are also excited about the possibilities that Character Creator 3 opens for creating photorealistic renderings. The software opens up a door for those who previously used other programs like Poser to use that same content in a software that allows them ease of use and has the added benefit of the Iray rendering," said Jenn Blake, Renderosity Marketplace Manager.
Renderosity Vice President Tommy Lemon said the new software will also open new doors to the artistic community.
"Character Creator 3 and iClone 7 will provide the Renderosity Community with an efficient and intuitive means to take their libraries of Poser and DAZ content to an entirely new customer base in the world of gaming and animation," Lemon said.
Game development can be a long and painful process, especially for indie game developers with limited budget and manpower. This new partnership will provide a new go-to gaming solution for the DAZ & Poser community.

Unify Daz & Poser Content
Character Creator 3 is fully compatible with content from Poser, Daz 3D, and HiveWire, all of which is available at Renderosity.com. Giving content creators and owners of these libraries, a unified platform to import characters, mix and blend clothing, animate and export for games or as photo realistic renders.
Content creators can use Character Creator to view realistic characters in realtime PBR shader, optimize their original high polygon assets for live performances, gamify their assets for game engines, AR, VR and more.
Animate Daz & Poser Content
The artist can connect the Poser and Daz content through Character Creator 3 and transform characters and assets like those created by HiveWire, and morph characters into characters that work seamlessly with iClone realtime animation.
Gamify Daz & Poser Content
Character Creator 3 repurposes your assets for the worldwide 3D game industry, as it integrates InstaLOD’s model and material optimization technologies to generate game-ready characters that are animatable on-the-fly with multiple LOD (level of detail) outputs.
