In 2017, Renderosity asked its community to create a new generation of horror as generations of horror battle. Entries included Universal monsters vs. modern-day slashers, dinosaurs vs. zomibes, aliens vs. Marines.

Here are the winners in the Photography Category.

1st Place: StarChildSong

StarChildSong used a Canon 60d set at F2.8, 1/100, 640 ISO with a Canon 100mm lens. Post-work was done in Photoshop and a fog machine added an eerie glow.

StarChildSong said of the image:

"Known as Lady of the Dead, Mictecacihuatl was keeper of the bones in the Aztec underworld. Hauntingly beautiful, she dresses in elegant attire and sugar skull face. The image took about about four hours to create including over an hour in hair and makeup. Shoot location was at a restaurant with a reputation for being haunted."

2nd Place: dollmommy

3rd Place: savannahleopardgecko

Honorable Mention: Ladonna
