Superpowers is Now Free and Open Source | indie games, open source, Superpowers

From superpowers-html5.com, we learn that this new game making platform has gone completely open-source and is now free.

"Superpowers is an HTML5 development environment for making 2D and 3D games. It can be extended with plugins and lets you collaborate in real-time. Superpowers has been in development for over a year. It is a great IDE already but it is still evolving fast. We've decided to make it free and open source. If you like it, you can choose to support our work over at patreon.com/SparklinLabs."

Superpowers comes with hundreds of assets and games created in Superpowers can be published on PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. There is already a good library of games that can help you get started. Although Superpowers is relatively new to the indie-game scene, they sure have the right attitude by making the platform free and open source.

It will be interesting to see how Superpowers develops. We look to posting a more in-depth report in the near future.
