Sergiy Dobrovolski, better known to the Renderosity community as 1971s, started creating digital art in 2001. In the years since, he has become a master of the fantastic.
The Ukrainian vendor uses Cinema 4D, Poser and Bryce to create highly detailed places, buildings and vehicles that were inspired by books and music and can only be found in his imagination.
"I like creating new unusual worlds, vehicles and architecture. As a child, I have read a lot of science fiction literature - Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov and many other science fiction authors inspire me to create my works," he said.
His journey into 3D worlds started with Terragen in 2001, he said.
"In one of the magazines, I saw several pictures created with the help of this program and I wanted to try to create my own images," he said.
Then he started working with Bryce and Cinema 4D. In 2005, he discovered Renderosity and joined so he could share his work and learn from the community.
"It's a wonderful site where you can see beautiful images and buy good products for creating images," Dobrovolski said. "It's a place where you can share your creativity and find friends."
Dobrovolski shares his digital creations along with more traditional art, like photography and paintings, in his gallery.
"I came to Rendo to share my work. I like the work of other community artists. I like to share my creativity, like to create products and I'm very happy when other artists use them to create their own works," he said.
Dobrovolski's store is filled with fantasy, sci-fi and even a few steampunk models of vehicles, buildings, props and scenes.
But he hopes he has more amazing creations in the future.
