Review of "Finding Dory" | review, finding dory, hope kumor

Last week, my fiancé and I went to see "Finding Dory." I'm not really one for animated movies - unless it received good reviews, but I just went because my fiancé was ranting and raving about it.

So, with pretzel bites in hand, we sat down to watch this cute movie, which was 97 minutes. I've seen "Finding Nemo," but it's been awhile, so I prepared myself to be a bit lost. To my surprise, the movie showed a flashback of "Finding Nemo," so those who hadn't seen it weren't confused.

According to IMDB, the storyline was "Dory is a wide-eyed, blue tang fish who suffers from memory loss every 10 seconds or so. The one thing she can remember is that she somehow became separated from her parents as a child. With help from her friends Nemo and Marlin, Dory embarks on an epic adventure to find them. Her journey brings her to the Marine Life Institute, a conservatory that houses diverse ocean species. Dory now knows that her family reunion will only happen if she can save mom and dad from captivity."

Now, I have to tell you, it was worth seeing! It was cute, funny and sad at the same time. I don't want to give too much away, but just know if you were debating on whether to see it or not, I would say you won't be disappointed.
