Oculus Medium Launched
Staff Writer By: Oculus blog
When we first built Medium, it was clear that VR would fundamentally change the way we create, make art, and share with each other. We were inspired to build out the best possible toolset to take full advantage of Touch when it launches later this year. To do this, we gave Medium to world-class artists to see how it fits into the creative routine.
We've been blown away with what we've seen so far--from intricate robots to friendly dinos and sword carrying warriors:

The Medium toolkit
Medium uses Touch controllers to embrace true hand presence for an incredibly tactile, immersive VR sculpting experience. Ahead of the launch of Touch, we want to give you a closer look at Medium and introduce some of the sculpting tools that will be available this year:
This is just the beginning--there are still many more tools in development that we'll share when Medium launches.
DC and Medium at Comic-Con!The incredibly talented artists at DC have been testing out Medium and will reveal some of their work, exclusively to fans, live on the DC stage at Comic-Con International in San Diego!
The live Medium sculpts start today and will happen each day on the DC stage, so we hope you can stop by and check out the action. Additionally, all five artists sculpted an exclusive DC figure that we've 3D printed and hand-painted, making them one-of-a-kind collectible that five lucky fans will get to take home.
DC characters brought to life through Medium as one-of-a-kind, hand-painted 3D printed collectibles.
We can't wait to see what you'll create!
