The NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC) which began in 2009, starts today and runs through Thursday, May 11. This yearly conference produced and sponsored by NVIDA brings together thousands of scientists, technology experts, artists, virtual reality experts and media producers from all over the world to share and discuss their discoveries in the field of graphic technology.
I'll be attending this year's conference (8th annual) as the guest of NVIDIA and will be reporting daily starting on Tuesday. Wednesday, I will attempt to broadcast live on the Renderosity Magazine Facebook page at approximately 2pm pacific time. I hope to introduce you to the showplace floor where many exhibitors are sharing the work and technologies.
Deep Learning, Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence are my main areas of interest at the conference, although I'll be looking at developments in virtual gaming, medical technology and media creation as well. There are a wide variety of panels, talks, tutorials and discussions at the conference. My schedule is packed.
NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, will be giving a keynote address on Wednesday, which I will try to bring to you as live as possible via our Renderosity Magazine FB page. His comments and announcements are covered by literally hundreds of press representatives and news media. I've always enjoyed his relatively low key presentations and this one should be interesting.
