Vue is a wonderful program for creating landscapes. Artist who know how to use this powerful application can create scenes that are so rich and evocative a mood is cast over the viewer. It's not realism so much as it is the totality of the scene and how all of the scene's elements come together. G. Orlof's October brings out so many of the moods of Fall. You can almost feel the atmosphere of the harvest; walk across the bridge and perhaps skim a rock over the placid waters.
The color choice is especially good with so many shades of rust and tan. The Fall season is perfectly evoked in October. And I love the framing of the scene with the boat (whose boat is it?) in the foreground. It's almost as if we are waiting for someone to come out and enjoy the scene with us. Great, great work.
Please take a moment and view G. Orlof's other Vue creations in his gallery at Renderosity.com. I know you will enjoy them as much as I do.
