"I joined the Renderosity community in 2002, so this was some time ago," said Renderosity vendor Antje. "I remember I was looking for information and products for the Poser software I had just purchased and didn't know anything about."

Staff : How has art changed your life?

Antje : Actually, art hasn't changed my life. I really don't know a life without art. It's always been a part of my life. I remember my dad sketching away in his sketchbook. I loved all his cowboys and Indians. As soon as I could hold a pen, I would draw things. My techniques have changed throughout the years, but I don't remember ever "not" creating art in some form or another.

What is it about art that you love?

Art simply is one of the most beautiful things in life. I love that one picture can provoke very different emotions and thoughts for each person that views it. There were so many times I would show one of my images in the gallery and would get messages from people telling me the image really touched them in some way or another. They interpreted the image a completely different way than I had intended, but it really felt good to have touched someone so much so, they would message me and tell me about it.

What does art mean to you?

Art means a lot to me. I'm not sure how life would be without it. My entire family are artists in one form or another. So it plays a big part in all of our lives.

How did you become so passionate about art and why?

I really don't know how or why I developed a passion for art. I just have always created art since I can remember.
I believe any artist is passionate about their art or art in general. It's just what happens.
