Franklin, Tennessee - August 17, 2016- Ansbach Artisans Fine Art Gallery's monthly Saturday Night Live Art event promises to be an exciting evening. On August 27, the Franklin art gallery will feature the work of six local artists including Kate Cloud, Leah Boorse, Pamela Cisneros, Pauline Rogers, Seemi Rizvi, and Terry Miller Sneed. Musician Kent Burnside will also be playing smooth jazz guitar throughout the evening.

Kate Cloud's new artwork will be unveiled during the event.

"I will be unveiling two original pieces unseen by anyone," said Cloud. "They are complementary to a previous popular piece I sold. I am very excited to show the world these two new works of mine, and see the response."

Taziki's Mediterranean Café has kindly sponsored August's SNL Art event and will be providing appetizers throughout the evening.

"We are thrilled to be able to sponsor and provide appetizers for Ansbach Artisans' Saturday Night Live Art event this month," said Dale Wasem, Local Owner and Operating Partner, Taziki's Mediterranean Café. "We are very thankful for our wonderful customers and hard-working employees that have made Taziki's expansion throughout Tennessee possible, and we want to give back through events such as these when possible."

SNL Art is free, open to the public, and family friendly.

Owner Michael Phillips opened Ansbach Artisans in May 2015 at 1974 Wilson Pike in Franklin. The former site of Jamison Market is now the home of a wonderful art gallery which features only original works by Middle Tennessee artists. The gallery is named for the city of Ansbach, Germany where Phillips served in the Army as a Black Hawk helicopter pilot.

"This August we are featuring six very unique artists," said Phillips. "We're excited to unveil Kate Cloud's new artwork for the first time anywhere and we are honored to have the support of Taziki's; our guests will love their fresh food."

SNL Art is on the final Saturday of each month and is open to visitors of all ages. Press is also welcome to attend. The next event takes place on August 27 from 6-9 p.m. Details of the event can be found on the gallery website, AnsbachArtisans.com.
