Ansbach Artisans Brings Live Art to the 2016 Business & Education Expo

Franklin, Tennessee - June 1, 2016

This month, Ansbach Artisans Fine Art Gallery in Franklin will be hosting a special edition of its monthly Saturday Night Live Art (SNL Art) event in The Factory at Franklin as part of the 2016 Business & Education Expo hosted by the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce. There will be 12 featured artists painting live at The Factory including: Roy Laws, Pam Francis, Lisa Eisenga, Laura Neal, Chris Ousley, Carol Moon, Dolly Georgieva-Gode, Omari Booker, Elisheba Israel, Kate Cloud, Leah Boorse and Kimberly Fox. Jazz guitarist Mel Deal will also be playing live during the event.

"We're proud to be part of the 2016 Business & Education Expo and to have the opportunity to introduce more people to these outstanding local artists," said Ansbach Artisans owner Michael Phillips.

This month's SNL Art takes place on Saturday, June 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Factory at Franklin, located at 230 Franklin Road. SNL Art is family friendly and open to the public. Visitors can mix and mingle with other guests, talk to the artists and observe as their works come to life, and view and purchase finished works by the artists.

Michael Phillips opened Ansbach Artisans in May 2015 at 1974 Wilson Pike in Franklin. The former site of Jamison Market is now the home of a wonderful art gallery which features only original works by Middle Tennessee artists. The gallery is named for the city of Ansbach, Germany where Phillips served in the Army as a Black Hawk helicopter pilot.

SNL Art is a monthly event open to visitors of all ages. Press is also welcome to attend. The next event takes place on June 21 from 4-7 p.m. at The Factory at Franklin. Details of the event can be found on the gallery website, AnsbachArtisans.com.
