Looking for free 3D content? Well, look no further than these five websites that offer myriad free items for all skill levels.
1. Renderosity Freestuff
Renderosity began in 1998 as a way for 3D modeling enthusiasts to share their questions and creations. That community continues to support each other nearly 20 years later with forums, a marketplace and Freestuff.
From scenes and props to poses and characters, just about anything you could need can be found in Renderosity's Freestuff section.
At Free3D.com, formerly TF3DM, users can share their models and download models created by other users. File types cover everything from Autodesk to Blender.
3. 3D CADNav
CADNav.com offers graphic designers and 3D artists a library of 3D models and props, textures, and Vray materials.
Launched in 2003, Archive3D.net is the web's largest directory of free 3D models. No registration is needed to access the daily updated directory. The only downside is the quality isn't guaranteed.
5. 3D Warehouse
3DWarehouse is full of models for SketchUp, an architectural modeling program.
Bonus: 3D CG
3D CG offers a database of models for DAZ Studio, Poser, Bryce, 3DS Max and more.
